- Emotions: Over the next month, all four of us are transitioning many old and familiar friendships. Saying goodbye creates sadness. Pray for God's comfort for each of us. An extra prayer for Sarah and Sydney along these lines will be appreciated!
- Housing: We have two immediate requests about housing. First, we are hoping to buy a house through a lease purchase. We would rent the home until our house in Beaufort sells. This would allow us only to move once which will be wonderful. Pray that the right house will be evident. Second, we'll put our house in Beaufort on the market as we leave in June. Pray specifically that the house will sell in God's timing! (If you want to add our preference - you can add "quickly"!)
- End of School - Pray for Sarah and Sydney to be able to focus and do well in their school work as the move gets closer. This is not very easy.
- Ending well - Pray for me to end well at The Baptist Church of Beaufort. I've been a part of this church for 13 years. It means a great deal to me. I ask God to help me stay focused on priorities as I worked toward the future of BCOB and FBC.
- The Move - Pray for all things to simply come together for the actual move - for there to be no unforeseen glitches or challenges.
- My mom - Pray for Jean Spivey. Mom will eventually join us in Cornelia. She is very excited about these changes as well. She'll actually be closer to most of her family.
Praise -
In God's timing, we were able to sell my mom's house over the weekend. It's been on the market since June 2009. This timing allows us to go ahead and begin to move some of her things with us when we move. God always amazes us!
I will be praying for you, Marcia, the girls and your mother during this process. Many things to think about and pray for guidance in, but much joy in many of those areas also. I'm so thankful to hear that your mother's house sold! What an answer to prayer!
ReplyDeleteSarah - Glad to know the comments section of the blog works. Continue your prayers! Thanks for all your work to make this transition possible!
